Calling Mother and Daughters Living in Auburn LGA
A series of free handicraft workshops are being offered for mother and daughter (14-25 years) pairs to learn skills in making different kinds of handicraft items including bags, quilts, curtains, etc.
The workshops will run for 12 weeks starting from February 29, 2008.
The information session will be held on February 22, 2008 at 4:30 pm at AMRC, 17 Macquarie Rd, Auburn. Participants will be registered on the same day.
Sessions will be facilitated by Resala Al Azzawi, who has run similar workshops with women in Liverpool and has exhibited her work at the Parliament House in Canberra.
This is a collaborative of Auburn Migrant Resource Centre, Auburn Council and Auburn Community Development Network.
