family support workers. This project provides early
intervention and family support to newly arrived migrants
and refugee families with children 0-8 (years) to meet
their developmental needs. Building the capacity of these
families to better access support structures in order to
support their children.

role provides support for families experiencing challenges
with family relationships after migration and aims to
strengthen the capacity of these families to better support
their relationship needs.
Examples of activities include:
Workshops exploring relationships after migration,
healthy relationships within the family, parenting skills
and topics such as child discipline, conflict resolution,
and effective communication in the family, parenting in a
different context, for young people on self-esteem,
self-confidences, double identity, inter-generational
gap.
